We offer prospective students a range of selected short-term courses, degrees and diplomas awarded by internationally renowned universities/business schools at an affordable price. CLBS also offers students learning flexibility, as a number of courses offered can be studied in full-time, part-time or distance learning mode. It is also possible for students to complete part of their studies in Mauritius and abroad. CLBS is a registered centre for the University of London in relation to the Bachelor of Laws (LLB). All of our speakers are practicing lawyers who bring their practical experience to the classroom. From the first weeks, we had a taste of the law in action through an extraordinary introductory program that took us to the Mauritian Parliament, the Supreme Court, the state law firm, and we even met in person with the Attorney General! After my first year at CLBS, I received a partial scholarship based on my achievements from the first year.
After graduation, with the support of my professors at CLBS, I obtained a mini-body student in a prestigious bar in Mauritius. CLBS was a wonderful place to study, I am very happy to have studied at CLBS and would recommend the institution to any potential law student. After graduating, her LLB (Hons) Naasira Punjoo went to the UK to attend the Bar Professional Education Course (BPTC). She was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 2015 and to the Mauritian Bar in 2017. Naasira then entered the chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan QC and practised as a lawyer in Mauritius. CLBS is a post-secondary education provider specializing in the provision of legal and business education.
