Mas du Soleilla is pleased to present to you its new cuvée LES AMMONITES 2013 With it’s fresh fruity and spicy flavours and the velvety finish, Les Ammonites reflects the nobility of its terroir.
Appellation : AOC La Clape.
Terroir : Argilo-calcareous and white marl.
Vintage : Dry winter and summer. Rather a cool autumn.
Grape varieties : Grenache Noir and Syrah.
Plantaion Density : 4’000 plants/ha.
Cultivation : Organic farming.
Fertilizing : Rare, of organic orgine and compost.
Harvest : By hand. Grapes sorted before and after destemming.
Yield : 25 hl/ha.
Ageing : 12 month in steel tanks and some barrels.
Character: Intense purple colour. With it’s fresh fruity and spicy flavours and the velvety finish, this wine reflects the nobility of its terroir.
Alcohol content: 15 % vol.
Ageing potential: 5 Years and +.
Gastronomy: To be served with dishes based on tomato, grlic, ppper, anchovis, etc, barbecue and ratatouille.
